You’ll hear this fella before you see him. Younes joins the club from Drakes rivals Kirkburton, after playing intermittently over the last few years and taking a full season off last season for work commitments. A childhood friend of Chaos and new signing Marcus Walmsley, who played their representative junior cricket together for the Heavy Woollen league and Yorkshire juniors. When Chaos called to get the band back together, Younes was keen to put pen to paper and has already shown to be a club favourite. Younes is yet to find a settled home in senior cricket, having spells at Wakefield St Michaels, Castleford, Appleby Frodingham, and Yorkshire Academy. Younes will play a big part this year, with his winner’s mentality, energy and passion in the field and his destructive batting in the middle order. He has already shown the Moorlands faithful a glimpse of his ability with a MOM performance, a chanceless 50* in the opening game of the season against Hopton Mills. Everyone at Moorlands wishes Younes the best this season and we’re sure he’ll provide entertainment on and off the field.
